If Artizian’s computer system fails, its head office simply grinds to a halt. All accounting systems are computer based for example and there is virtually no aspect of their work that does not rely on computers.
In order to support a continuing commitment to customer service, the company needed to introduce mobile email for its staff but found that its existing system was unable to deliver this. Artizian asked Dunston IT, their long time outsourced IT solution and IT Support suppliers, to advise on how to implement a mobile email solution.
THE IT SOLUTION
Dunston IT recommended an upgrade to Microsoft Windows® Small Business Server as this would offer a simple solution to Artizian’s mobile email requirement as well as other additional capabilities.
By taking advantage of Outlook Web Access, Artizian’s managers can access their email from anywhere with an internet connection.
Using Microsoft Small Business Server and Windows Terminal Server, staff can also gain access to files on the Head Office server wherever they are working.
Small Business Server also allows Dunston IT to provide Artizian with technical network support remotely, which means that the company can get back in business even quicker if there ever is a problem.
