Richard Brain - Managing Director

Richard joined Dunston IT in 1997, after completing a BSc in Geographical Information Systems at Kingston-upon-Thames University. After starting as a trainee at Dunston he became an IT consultant and then became an Engineer, in which role he performed many complex installations and became renowned for his ability to resolve difficult issues for customers.

As Technical Director, Richard was responsible for giving staff and customers, technical guidance and direction as well as evaluating new technologies to see what benefits they will bring to customers in terms of time and money savings.

In February 2012 Richard took over the reins from Malcolm Hearn and now heads the company as Managing Director.

Most of his spare time is spent with his wife, Claire and their two children. During the summer Richard regularly plays cricket in the Surrey area and is Captain of the 1st XI of the Worplesdon and Burpham Cricket Club.  In the winter Richard plays football whenever possible.
